| Byron Bay is the most easterly point on the Australian Mainland. It has a mild year round climate and is an internationally renowned destination for surfers and back-packers. From its days as a hippie Mecca, Byron still retains its ‘edginess’, but also offers a vast array of quality restaurants, accommodation and services. Byron is a low rise town which has preserved its natural environment. But it is still close enough to take in day trips to the Gold Coast attractions like Sea World, Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild.
